Danny Joe Vanbibber

Danny grew up in Hocking County, Ohio, where he attended Logan High School and graduated in 1967. He later earned his associate degree from Hocking Tech Institute. From a young age, Danny worked hard to help support his family, a value that stayed with him throughout his life.

He began his career at the Carborundum Grinding Wheel Factory before being offered a position with EDS, which led him to relocate to Michigan in 1985. Danny continued working in information technology, eventually spending many years with Verizon, where he remained until his retirement.

Danny was married to his beloved wife, Sandra, for 38 years until her passing in 2006. Their life together was a meaningful and steady partnership that he carried with him always. A simple man at heart, Danny enjoyed fixing things, collecting items that caught his interest, golfing, and taking walks. Above all else, he lived for his grandchildren, who brought him his greatest joy and pride. Danny will be remembered for his strong work ethic, quiet nature, and deep love for his family.

Danny was the beloved husband of the late Sandra. Loving father of D. Edward VanBibber, G. Kevin (Christi) VanBibber, and Gwendolyn (Jeff) Rushton. Cherished grandfather of Cassandra, Thomas, Robert, Angelina, Taylor, Paige, Aaron, and Lexi. Adored great-grandfather of Evelynn and Victoria. Dear brother of James VanBibber, Lisa Stotts, Brenda Smith, the late Gloria VanBibber, the late Richard VanBibber, and the late Lawrence VanBibber. He is also survived by his long-time partner Debbie Styers as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
