Darlene always stayed busy throughout her life. If she wasn’t at Rosemack Bingo Hall, she was visiting around town. Darlene made friends everywhere she went and when she went out to run errands she was known to be out for a long time because she would stop to talk to anyone she ran into. Sometimes she would plan trips to go out with friends but run into someone else she knew while she was out and end up finishing her trips with a different friend than she started with. On her way home from a long day at work she treated herself to some scratch-off cards. Darlene worked at Fisher Dynamics in Saint Clair Shores until retirement and then Tropical Treasures to stay busy until she couldn’t any longer. The coworkers she worked with throughout her life were a combination of friends and people who were like family to her. As much as she enjoyed her work, the times when she got to be at home with her family, especially during the holidays, were fond memories she cherished. They didn’t need to go anywhere to have fun together; Darlene enjoyed the simple times being together. She made sure to bring her famous stuffing with ingredients measured by her heart to the important fall family gatherings. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Darlene will be missed dearly by all who survive her.
