David was the beloved brother of the late Richard Marx, Timothy (Amy) Marx, Donald (Kristie) Marx, and Gerald Marx. He was a proud and loving uncle to Tyler, Dylan, Brooklyn, Elynn, and Fallyn.
He graduated from Sterling Heights High School in 1991 and followed in his father’s footsteps by becoming an engineer shortly thereafter. David dedicated himself to his work with Utica Enterprises and KUKA, where he was known for his confidence, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence. Outside of work, David had a deep love for reading, especially historical fiction. He was a caring and generous person who enjoyed sharing his passions with others, particularly his love of sports, especially baseball, with his nieces and nephews.
David cherished time spent in the Thumb of Michigan, visiting his family’s property where he found joy in hunting deer, whether by bow or rifle, fishing, and simply being in the woods surrounded by loved ones. He especially valued the camaraderie these moments brought among his brothers.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, from 3:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 5:00 pm, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren.
