David L. Rhine age 70, of Clinton Township died tragically in an automobile accident in Florida on Thursday, February 18, 2010. He was born November 1, 1939 in Detroit the son of the late Howard and the late Dorothy (nee: Prebble) Rhine. David was a retired Captain of the Warren Fire Department. After his retirement he enjoyed spending his time at the family cottage in Lewiston, or in Orlando and Kissimmee, Florida. While in Florida he grew to love Disney World. However, Disney World will never compare to the love he held for his grandchildren. David is survived by his children, Cindy (Dan) Fletcher, Nancy (Larry) Samyn, Patty (Jerry) Gorney, and Shelly (Steve) Brown; grandchildren, Bret, Erin, Sara, Ryan, Alex, Jody, and Abbi. He is predeceased by his wife, Sandra. Visitation for David Rhine will be held Monday 3-9 p.m. at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). A Funeral Service will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Officiating the Funeral Service will be Pastor Greg Griffith. Interment will follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Clinton Township. Please share memories at David's guest book.
