Born March 8, 1947, in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, David always held a deep nostalgia for his hometown. He settled in Michigan after living in Brazil and California to be closer to his family, but he never missed a chance to return to his hometown. David had a kind spirit that, when he entered the room, you felt his presence with his vibrant character and gift for making people feel loved. He carried this zest for life with him his entire life.
He attained a bachelor’s degree at Eastern Michigan University School of Engineering and worked as a Metallurgy Engineer until retirement.
Beyond his career, David enjoyed golf, watching the Lions, and fine wine; he loved to travel with his wife, Grace, and found great joy in sunny destinations together; he was a gifted storyteller, had a talent for making everyone feel at home, a proud father, and a loving Papa.
