Leach, Deborah Ann, age 72, March 17, 2022. Beloved mother of James, Kesho Leach and the late Akil. Loving grandmother of Danika Leach and proud great grandmother of Gabriella Dues and Aurora Dues. Dear sister of Diane (Gregory) Hunter and Stanley (Cynthia) Phillips. She is a cherished aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt who is loved and missed by her many friends and family.
Deborah lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed gardening, jig-saw puzzles, crosswords, Sudoku and singing (she was a 1st soprano). She also loved her murder mysteries, playing cards, doing impersonations and cooking. She was famous for her potato salad and mac & cheese.
In 1969, Deborah graduated from St. Gregory High School. She continued her education through various universities and online learning, earning an Associate’s Degree in 1994 from Wayne County Community College.
She was also very generous by volunteering her time as well as monetary donations to the Goodfellows to support their cause. Her strong faith led her to Word of Faith International Christian Center where she prayed and gave glory to God.
Services for Deborah are to take place privately.
