Delores Barbara Jones, age 83, of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. Loving wife of the late Robert Earl Jones. Beloved mother of Cheryl Monarch (Mark), Rhonda Jones and Rob Jones (Karen). Cherished grandmother of Haley Pritchard, Olivia Pritchard, Amanda Monarch, Brooke Monarch, Danielle Monarch, Autumn Jones and Lily Jones. Adored great-grandmother of Roman Hopper.

Raised in Cape Cod, Delores shared a joyful childhood with her sisters, building memories by the sea that would shape her lifelong love of the beach. She later spent time living in Anchorage, Alaska, adding adventure and resilience to her story. On November 9, 1962, Delores married the love of her life, Robert. Their marriage was a true partnership, full of devotion, laughter, and unwavering support until his passing in 2001.

Delores was a dedicated and respected office manager at a dental office, where her organization, sharp mind, and strong opinions made her a cornerstone of the practice. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life — the warmth of the sun on the beach, the comfort of a Hallmark movie, a cold Coca-Cola, and a can of potato straws. She had a flair for style — her nails were always polished a perfect pink, and she loved a good pair of flip flops or her trusty Clark’s shoes. Shopping was her therapy and her joy.

Above all, Delores's heart belonged to her family. She adored her grandchildren beyond words and shared a special bond with her grand-dogs, especially Holly. Her presence was strong, her opinions even stronger, and her love immeasurable. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Delores's family will receive friends from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday, October 2 at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd., Warren, 48093.

A Funeral Service will be at 10:30am, Friday, October 3 at the Funeral Home. Visitation on Friday begins at 9:30am.

A Private Interment will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland, MI where Delores will join her late Husband, Robert.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial tributes to St. Jude Children's Hospitals or Ronald McDonald House Charities.
