

Delphine "Nan" Dulworth, aged 93, peacefully passed away on September 6, 2023. She is reunited in eternal love with her late husband, Elbert, with whom she shared 46 years of unwavering devotion. Delphine's devotion to Elbert was a true testament to her commitment to love and family. They were united in matrimony on November 17, 1952, embarking on a lifelong journey filled with love and companionship.
Nan was a loving mother to the late Linda S. Dulworth, Alesia (Mitch) Edman, Elbert (Janet) Dulworth, the late Beverly (the late Jerry Jr.) Hall and the late Brenda (the late Joe) Wierzbicki. Her nurturing spirit and boundless love extended to her grandchildren: Elbert (Dawn) Dulworth, Michael (Lisa) Dulworth, Linda (Andrew) Imbirowicz, Christopher (Rachelle) Hall, Paul (Anthony Beverly) Wierzbicki, Joseph Wierzbicki, and Joseph Edman. Nan's legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Breanna, Dominic, Ella, Andi, Trae, Landon, and Maximus.
Nan was a cherished sister to Leon "Butch" (Martha) Bixler, Eileen "Penny" (Jim) Phillips and Ernie (Joan) Bixler. She is now reunited with her late siblings, the late Donald (the late Jane) Bixler and the late Elaine Snyder, in the embrace of eternity.
Delphine's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and her passion for creating cherished memories with them. One of her favorite pastimes was embarking on vacations to Pennsylvania and Tennessee with her beloved grandchildren. These trips were filled with laughter, adventure, and the creation of lifelong bonds that will endure as a testament to her love.
Delphine's culinary talents were legendary within her family circle. She found joy in preparing sumptuous Sunday Dinners that brought her loved ones together around the dining table. Her meals were not just nourishment for the body but also a feast for the soul. Among her many specialties, her famous banana pudding and a wide array of delectable desserts always left everyone craving for more.
A talented seamstress, Delphine showcased her creativity by making clothing and costumes for her grandchildren. These handmade creations were a testament to her love and care, and they will continue to be cherished as heirlooms, reminding us of her enduring love.
Delphine's passion for preserving the bounty of nature was evident in her canning skills. She meticulously canned numerous fruits, vegetables, and pickles, ensuring that her family could savor the taste of each season throughout the year.
Her love for children extended beyond her own family, as she opened her heart and home to provide a loving and nurturing environment for countless children in her home daycare. To them, she was simply "nan," a cherished figure who played an instrumental role in their upbringing.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 3 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:30 pm. The service will be held at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, located at 30009 Hoover Road in Warren.
Delphine "Nan" Dulworth's final resting place will be at Mount Tunnel Cemetery in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, a place of beauty and tranquility that reflects her love for nature and family.
