Dennis M. Sands, age 66 of Shelby Township died Sunday June 12, 2011. He is survived by his wife Roberta and his son Keven (Shelly), brothers Larry (Nancy) and Frank (Margaret) Sands. Loving grandfather of Isabella, Zachary, Faith and Bridget. He was proceeded by his parents Michael and Mary (Toner) Sands. Dennis was currently employed for the Defense Department in Warren as a Logistics Management Specialist. Dennis also spent four years in Seol Korea, and two years in Japan while working. Besides loving to spend time with his family, grandchildren and friends, Dennis was passionate about history and geneology. He loved exploring his Irish roots and traveled to Ireland several times. He also loved spending time on e-bay, and talking with whoever he could. Visitation for Mr. Sands will be Wednesday from 3-9 pm with a scripture service at 7:00 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road) in Warren. Final resting place for Mr. Sands will be in Ireland.
