Donald Thomas Rutkowski, age 86 of Sterling Heights, died Friday, May 11, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born May 15, 1931 in Detroit, son of the late Victor and the late Justine (nee: Chmilewski) Rutkowski.Donald was the beloved husband of Pearl. Dear father of Pauline (Bogdan) Balan and Janet (Ben) Rodriguez. Loving grandfather of Thomas (Tracy) Milo, Kristen Bennett, Ryan (James Wheatley) Milo and Donna (Dovie) Martens. Great-grandfather of Brittany, Brennan, Austin, Stephen, Bryanna and Savannah. Brother of Antoinette (Michael) Jankowicz. He was preceded in death by siblings, Victor, Rudy and Dolores. Visitation for Donald will be held Monday, May 14th from 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd.) in Warren. He will lie in state on Tuesday from 10:30 am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Blase Catholic Church in Sterling Heights.
