Eve A. Mayer

Eve Anna Mayer, age 92, passed away Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2008, surrounded by her family. Eve was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved life and loved a good party. The family would like to thank the staffs of Autumn Leaves of Grapevine, Heart to Heart Hospice and St. Francis Catholic Church for their tender, loving care. Eve was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Jacob Mayer in 1994, and her daughter, Margie Mayer 1992. Mrs. Mayer is survived by her children Marci Junge and husband, Ron, of Grapevine Texas; son, Brother Gene "Danny" Mayer, O.F.M., of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Michelle Tomczyszyn and husband, Sam, of Cypress, Texas: Carrie Marini and husband, Terry, Fort Worth Texas; Jennifer Clevenger and husband, David, of Cypress Texas; and Steve Schoenberg and wife, Beth, Lake Orion, Michigan. Mrs. Mayer is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday May 9th, 11:30 am at St. Edmund Catholic Church, 14025 E. 12 Mile Road in Warren. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Fred Link, O.F.M. Memorials may be made to St Francis Catholic Church or Franciscan Friars, 1615 Vine St., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45202.
