Francis "Frank" Dee Patterson, age 79 and resident of Warren for 59 years, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Bi-County Hospital in Warren. He was born on July 8, 1931 in Detroit, the son of the late Monte and the late Elizabeth (nee: Hicks) Patterson. Francis was a devout and longstanding member of the St. Pius 23 Knights of Columbus, and proud of the services he rendered as a volunteer with the Meals On Wheels program. Loving husband of Dorothy (nee: Lang). Beloved father of Stephen (Ashley) Patterson, Cathie (Bob) Baurhenn, the late David Patterson, the late Michael Patterson, Lori (Rick) Barnett, Robert (Ruth) Patterson, Kevin (Denise) Patterson, Susie (Bobby) Rice, Allen (Deanna) Patterson, Karen (Gene) Schroeder, Dennis (Kelly) Patterson, and Judy (Darcy) Amaro. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Rd) in Warren.
