Frank was born on January 29, 1930 in Sremska Mitrovica, Yugoslavia. In 1944, during World War II, his family left Yugoslavia for Austria. He met his future wife Eva and they married on December 29, 1951. After 5 years of marriage, they made the decision to leave Austria and start a new life with their two young children. They immigrated to the United States in February of 1957. When they arrived, he took any job he could to provide, went to school to learn how to speak, read, and write English. He found employment in the tool and die field as a machine operator until his retirement.
Frank belonged to the Carpathia Club for 66 years. They gathered with family and friends for parties, dances, Friday fish fry’s, and Tuesday senior cards, especially pinochle. He was an outstanding player. He also enjoyed fishing, bowling, and golfing whenever he had the opportunity. The most important thing in his life was his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren were his main priority. He would never miss a chance to celebrate all that life had to offer.
We love you beyond words and will miss you forever. Little by little we let go of loss, but never of love.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, from 9:30am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00pm, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren.
