

George A. Bronson, age 80, a resident of Warren for over 40 years, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan. George, was born May 8, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Charles A. Bronson and the Eva (nee: Boutin) Bronson. He is survived by his beloved wife, T. Joe. He is the loving father of Roiann (Chris) Belmont, Robert (Cathy) Bronson, and Thomas Bronson. Dearest grandfather of Christopher (Allison) Kuzma, Laurie Kuzma, T.J. Schultz, Richard Schultz, and Kylynn Bronson. Great grandfather of Matthew C. Lewis. He is also survived by his sister, Grace Weible, and many nieces and nephews. George graduated from Annunciation High School in Detroit he joined the Army Airforce and was headed off to battle in WWII. After returning from the war he began working as a Engineer at Tank-Com and continued his duty with the Army. George and T. Joe were married in 1962 and had later moved out of Detroit into Warren. He attained the rank of Captain in 1967 out of the 8 Mile Light Guard Armory. While serving in Army as a Federal Technician-Engineer he would travel to Mexico, Australia, and Germany to inspect the tanks that were built. He would teach the officers how to take apart the tanks and rebuild them. George retired from the United States Army as a Colonel and was proud to have served his county. Mr. Bronson loved to go up north to his cottage. He also enjoyed traveling to the different Army bases and being able to get on the base to go to the PX. His love for people was genuine and he always had a great sense of humor. Visitation for Mr. Bronson will be Thursday from 2-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 Mile). Funeral Services for George will be at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 am. Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan with full military honors. Please share memories at his guest book.
