Harlan Jackson Henderson, age 85 of Sterling Heights, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at his home. Harlan was born August 20, 1923 in West Frankfort, Illinois the son of the late Delmar Henderson and the late Alice (nee: Jackson) Henderson. Mr. Henderson served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. After his military service he worked and retired from General Motors. Harlan Henderson is survived by his wife Babe Jessica Henderson. He is the father of Karen Beth (Robert) Pickering, Jim (Paulette), Benny, Kenny, John Ralph J.R., and Rena Henderson. Brother of Bonnie Baldwin, and Vera Scott. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. Visitation for Mr. Henderson will be Tuesday 9:30am until the time of the Funeral Service 10:30 am, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 Mile).
