Hedy A. Meadows

Hedy Ann Meadows, 79 of Warren, died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Henry Ford Bi-County Community Hospital in Warren. Hedy was born Herta Ann Louise Barth, February 27, 1928 in Marburg, Germany the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. George and Johanna Barth. She migrated to Detroit from Germany in 1962, and resided in Warren since 1971. Hedy worked for Chrysler Motors for over 27 years before her retirement in 1994. Hedy was a hardworking woman her whole life, and at one point in her life she aspired to work as a chemist within the pharmaceutical industry and this provoked her to attend college. As time went on and her children were born Hedy chose to work at Chrysler and care for her family. Mrs. Meadows cherished her children and their families, often having everyone to her home for one of her excellent home cooked meals. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Mrs. Meadows also loved her cats. Survivors of Mrs. Meadows include her children, Scott (Gail) Meadows, Mark Meadows, Lance (Debra) Meadows, Greg (Linda) Meadows, Jackie (Scott) Sharp, and the late Gene Meadows. She is also the dearest grandmother of Scotty Meadows, Michelle Meadows, Melissa Meadows, Allison Meadows, Madison Meadows, Derek Harris, and Stephanie Harris. Mother in-law of Dennis Harris. Visitation for Hedy will be Wednesday from 2-8 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Rd at Common, (12 Mile). Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Officiating the funeral services will be Rev. Fr. Luke Krotkiewicz.
