Helen E. Bohun

Helen E. Bohun, age 77, of Warren, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Helen was born May 22, 1927, in Detroit to Zbigniew and Pelagia Majewski. She grew up in Detroit and moved to Warren in 1967. She is a former member of the Polka Boosters and volunteer at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren. Mrs. Bohun was a member of St. Sylvester Church, where she was a lector and communicant. Helen enjoyed golfing, bowling and going to the casinos, where slot machines were her favorite. Mrs. Bohun is survived by her children, Ronald (Charlene) Kaminski, Jeffrey (Sharon)Bohun and Sandra (Roger) Woodstock; grandchildren Chris (Courtney), Wendy (Aaron), Kathryn and Kelly; great grandchildren Drew and Devin, also a brother Stanley Majewski. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur and brother Richard Majewski. Visitation for Mrs. Bohun will be Thursday from 5-9 pm and Friday from 1-9 pm with a Rosary service 7:00 pm at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 1/2 Mile). Mrs Bohun will lay in state at St. Sylvester Catholic Church Saturday, 9:30 am with a Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 am.
