Helen Grabowski

Helen was born on December 18, 1930 in Point Edward, Ontario, Canada to the late John and Zuzi (nee Sekerak) Thomas. She had two sons Terence and Gerald.

Helen moved to Michigan and lived in Centerline with her two boys and mother most of her life. They enjoyed day trips Metro beach and the zoo during the summer.

Helen was the manager at GE Carboloy Credit Union for many years. She was the hostess to many dinner dances at the Warren Chateau.

She was a member of SS Cyril and Methodius Slovak Catholic Church for several years.

Helen lived at Pomeroy for five years and enjoyed participating in their activities and field trips.

Helen is survived by her son Gerald (Janet) Grabowski. Grandchildren Brett Grabowski, Kyle Grabowski, James Grabowski, Robert (Abby) Grabowski, Jennifer Grabowski, Grant Grabowski and Trent Grabowski. Great grandsons Jude, Elijah, and Henry.

Helen was predeceased by her son Terence (Cindy) Grabowski, her brother John (Jean) Thomas, and sister Annie Fedikow.

Visitation Monday, August 14th from 2pm until time of Funeral Service at 6pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088. Memorial donations to Our Sheperd Lutheran Church (Love for Others Fund), 2225 E 14 Mile Road, Birmingham, MI 48009, are appreciated.
