Helen V. Rintz, age 91, of Warren, died Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Shelby Nursing Center in Shelby Township. Helen was born October 9, 1917 in Hamtramck the daughter of the late George and the late Magdelena (nee: Ignatavicus) Smith. Her family said she enjoyed crafts, going Up North to the cottage, and playing with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Bob) Lerczak; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Helen is predeceased by her husband, Joseph; and her two sons, George and Larry. Visitation for Mrs. Rintz will be held Monday 5-9 pm and Tuesday 2-9 pm with a 7 pm Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). A Funeral Service will be Wednesday 10 am at the Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Fr. David Buersmeyer. Interment will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Detroit. Please share memories at Helen's guestbook.
