Henry Otto Plegue, age 57, died suddenly January 30, 2017 at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren, Michigan. Henry was born July 3, 1959 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, son of the late William and Regina Plegue. Henry was raised in Clinton Township, Michigan and graduated from Clintondale High School, the Class of 1977. After his schooling, Henry pursued his love of the culinary arts and became a chef. Henry's career as a chef would begin at the Heidelberg Restaurant, and later to downtown Mount Clemens where he worked at the Old Broadway Cafe for over ten years. As any good chef knows, you never stay at one restaurant for too long. So Henry eventually moved on to the Oxford Inn in Royal Oak where he would work for the next 15 years.Henry was an old soul of sorts and should have lived his adult life during the 1950's. He held a love for the old classic movies and music of the time. When Henry was not working he could be found at home either watching the old classics or listening to the music of the 1950's and 1960's. He also enjoyed collecting old car and automobile memorabilia, and always held a passion for spending time with his family.Henry was the dear brother of William Plegue, Edward (Becky) Plegue, and Rebecca (Greg) Bennett. He was the loving Uncle of Katie, Bryan, Bryn, Taryn, Thane, and Allyson. Henry's family will receive friends at 10:00 am at Warren Woods Baptist Church, 14251 E.
