Herbert Tom Fenton, 81, of Sterling Heights, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at the John D. Dingell V.A. Medical Center in Detroit. Mr. Fenton was born November 9, 1925 in Detroit, MI. Mr. Fenton served in the US Navy as a SeaBee during WWII. He retired from Dept. of HUD and later worked as an FHA Inspector in Slidell, LA. He was a charismatic and unforgettable Irishman who will be greatly missed. Mr. Fenton is survived by his wife, Debra; their two children, Thomas and Daniel; his children, Mike (Bev), Nansi (Julio) Colomba, Patrick (Laura), Pam (Bill) Schap, Jo Ann (Doug) Grafton, ; and 13 grandchildren: Janelle and Michael Fenton; Brandon, Julio and Kyle Colomba; Gregory, Reed and Adam Fenton; Caitlin and Carly Ellinger; Matt, Dan and Nick Grafton; also survived by his mother and father-in-law of 22 years, Robert and Ollie Bright; sister-in-law, Donna (Phil) Cangemi; and brother-in-law, Ronnie (Janet) Bright. Memorial visitation for Mr. Fenton will be Friday, April 20 from 2-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 Mile). A memorial service will take place Saturday, 12:00 noon at the funeral home. The service will be officiated by Pastor Melvin Leach.
