Hermine Mia Stecker "Minnie"

After visiting her twin sister, Greta, Hermine met the love of her life, Oscar W. Stecker. She came to America and married him on August 20, 1960. They were married at Bethlehem Lutheran Church where they have been members for over 60 years. Through the years, Oscar and Minnie enjoyed polka, traveling, camping and refreshments on the porch. Minnie was a homemaker and enjoyed throwing parties where she served delicious dishes. Her life was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was also very close with her twin sister, Greta.

Loving wife of the late Oscar W. for 54 years. Beloved mother of Diana Theuer (Ronald), David Stecker (Carla) and Linda Cain (Corey). Devoted grandmother of Melanie, Jodie, Bryan, Amanda, Benjamin, Brandon and Melissa. Cherished great grandmother of Isley, Colton and Lincoln. Caring sister of the late Greta Krueger (the late Werner) and the late Eduard Hoernig (the late Klara).

Minnie’s family will have a visitation from 4:00-8:00pm on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd., Warren (Schoenherr/Masonic). A Funeral will be held at 10:00am on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 29675 Gratiot, Roseville. Visitation at church begins at 9:00am.
