Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Irene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on-- a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Vancsik and Anna Vancsik; and her husband Gilbert. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Darlene and John Laws, Patty Winne and son-in-law Greg, Michael Grein, and Tina (the late Kim) Weiss; her grandchildren, Bridgett (Mark), Reggie, David (Sarah), Allen Thompson (Rachel), William (Megan) and Alexander Alsko (Sabrina); and her many great-grandchildren including Sylvia Thompson and Enzo Alsko.
A Committal Service for Irene will be held on Saturday, September 27th at 11:00am at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
