Jack Lorne Ernst died Thursday March 12, 2009 in Troy Beaumont Hospital, he was 87. Mr. Ernst was born in Detroit to Lorne and Elsie Ernst (nee: Heintz). Mr. Ernst loved working with wood and antiquing. His family said you could usually find him in the basement building something with wood. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his dog Sparkles. Mr. Ernst is survived by his wife Elizabeth. Dear father of Laura (Michael) McCloskey, and Lorne Ernst. Loving grandfather of Shawn and Jack McCloskey, Kimberly, Laurel, Colette, and Melanie Ernst. Funeral services will be Tuesday 1:00 pm. at the funeral home. Visitation Tuesday 11:00 am. untill time of service. Internment will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens, Clinton Township.
