Jim was born on August 17, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to his loving parents James Sr. and Josephine
He is survived by his beloved wife Karen (nee Sobkowiak) and stepson Will Southern. Siblings Susan Elek, Richard (Amy) and William (madeline). Niece and nephews Jim, Mary Jo, David and Nicholas. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Linda (nee Kokanovich).
Jim will lie in state at Our Lady of Redemption Melkite Catholic Church, 29293 Lorraine Avenue Warren, Michigan 48093 on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 10:30 A.M. until 12:00 Noon with a funeral service at Noon.
Entombment will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East.
