James J. Schoenherr, 83, of Warren died Friday, September 24, 2010. He was born on December 27, 1926 in Detroit, a son of the late Arthur and Christine (nee Schmitz) Schoenherr. James was a retired Master Electrician, having been employed by Chrysler Corporation for many years, and was a proud member of the United Auto Workers Union. He was a member of St. Martin de Porres Church and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his loving cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Christine Schoenherr; and a sister, Grace Schoenherr. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 am Tuesday at St. Martin de Porres Church, 31555 Hoover, Warren, with an instate time at 9 am. Interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
