
James Edward Sidebottom, age 70 of Warren, died suddenly Saturday, August 20, 2005 at St. John Macomb Hospital Center in Warren. James Edward Sidebottom was born September 8, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Preston Sidebottom and the late Marguerite (nee: Floer) Sidebottom. He is survived by his Beloved wife Patricia. His dear sons; Steven, Timothy, and Brian (Audrey) Sidebottom, and his loving grandchildren, Nicole, Stephanie, Amanda, Danielle, and Steven. Also survived by 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and many loving relatives and friends. Mr. Sidebottom served his country during the Korean War from 1951 to 1959, in the United States Marine Corps. After his military service he went to work at General Motors World Headquarters. He retired as a locksmith with over 39 years of service. Jim loved to golf with his buddies, watch sports, especially his beloved Detroit Tigers, enjoy a few Stroh Beers, and was always true to his country and the Marine Corps. Jim will be remembered by his family and neighbors for helping them finish off their basementsHe was a true craftsman. In addition to his hobbies he was also a member of the V.F.W. Bruce Post in St. Clair Shores. Visitation will be held at D. S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-9 P.M. A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning 11:00 am at the funeral home.
