Jane Bonello

Jane (nee: Cutajar) Bonello, age 85, of Eastpointe, MI passed away on July 1, 2022 at Ascension Macomb Hospital. She was born on April 10, 1937 in Hamrun, Malta to the late Anthony and Paula (nee: Galea) Cutajar. At the age of 15 years old, Jane made the courageous decision to immigrate from Malta to the United States.

She was a lifelong homemaker who took pride in making sure her family was well provided for. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to local garage sales and thrift stores finding old treasures. She took pride in her appearance especially with the unique jewelry she would find. She loved the Detroit Tigers, watching every game. Jane loved her vegetable garden at summertime and loved listening to country music. She was a devout Catholic who regularly prayed the rosary and had a strong faith in God. She was a very social person, who made friends easily. She will be remembered for the kind, loving and caring person that she was.

She is survived by her two loving sons, George Agius (Nancy) and Tony Agius (Gemma); her four grandchildren, George Agius (Jessica), Matthew Agius, Kristoffer Agius (Jaskiran), and Vanessa; her four great grandchildren, Hannah, Bella, Joshua, and Penelope; and her sister, Inez. Numerous extended family and close friends also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her husband, Victor and her sisters Alice, Annie, Josephine and Helen.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home (30009 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093). Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at St. Clement Cemetery in Center Line.
