Jimmie Ray Chaffins, age 77, Mount Clemens, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at his home. Jimmie was born August 22, 1933 in Garrett, Kentucky the son of the late Whitt and the late Lila (nee: McComas) Chaffins. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He retired after 40 years from The Budd Company. He was a Mason, Shriner, Hillbilly, and an avid bowler. Beloved husband of Betty Sue - Subie. Dearest father of Brian (Debra), Terena Sue (Don) Blackman, and Kelly Sue (Jim) Grimes. Dear papa of Heather, Jennifer, Tristan, Brittney Jean, and Fellicia and great grandfather of Christopher, Zoe, Paige, Ella, and Gavin. Loving brother of Lois, Gary, and Junior. Visitation will be held Tuesday 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). Funeral Service Wednesday 10:00 am at the Funeral Home. Officiating the Funeral Service will be Pastor Jerry Weinzierl. Interment with full Military Honors will follow the Funeral Service at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
