Joan Blankenship, 81, a longtime resident of Center Line, died Monday, December 3, 2007 at Father Murray Nursing Center. Mrs. Blankenship was the owner of Woody's Motor Sales in Warren for more than 40 years. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved to talk and enjoyed a good conversation. She is survived by her son, Tim (Debbie) Blankenship; sister, Dorothy Peltier; grandchildren, Bill Gross, and Bethany and Beverly Blankenship; and great grandson Brendan Gross. She was predeceased by her husband, Woody Blankenship; and grandson, Brent Hayes. Visitation is 3-9 PM on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover (at Common), Warren, with the Rev. Mike Gawlowski officiating. Interment will be in St. Clement Cemetery, Center Line.
