

Joan P. Rudnicki (nee: McPike), age 75, of Roseville, died Monday, December 15, 2008 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital Macomb Center in Warren. Joan was born April 2, 1933 in Detroit the daughter of the late John and the late Julia (nee: Guzik) McPike. She graduated from Pershing High School and worked at Chrysler International prior to her marriage to John Rudinicki. Along with raising her family she shared her faith as a Catechism teacher and life long member at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Fraser. She cherished her friendships she made with the staff and students. Joan enjoyed attending her grandchildren's events and traveling with her husband. She especially loved her family trips to Disney. Her family said she was an amazing cook. Her Polish dishes were the best! She also enjoyed reading and crocheting. Mrs. Rudnicki is survived by her husband of 52 years, John; children, Patti (Chuck) Hornick, Gary (Kim), John (Shannon), Teri (Dave) Clouse, and Jackie (Glen) Madacki; grandmother of, Christina, Nellie, Matthew, Tyler, Sarah, Brittany, Charley, Samantha, Angela, Catherine, Julie, Camilla, and Zach; sister, Cookie Hammond; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation for Mrs. Rudnicki will be held Thursday 3-9 pm with a 7 pm Scripture Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). She will lie in state Friday 9:30 am at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Fraser until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Officiating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr. Lawrence Jackson. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in New Baltimore. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Please share memories at Joan's guestbook.
