Karen was born to her loving parents Frankie and Joseph on December 13, 1975.
She had a passion for many things. She found peace and harmony in the beauty of music, especially classic rock, Led Zeppelin being her favorite band. She had an understanding that to know where you’re going you should know where you came from, which gave her an appreciation of American and world history as well as learning about ancient civilizations. She was always keeping her mind sharp with puzzles, word searches and other games. Her heart was full of love for animals, her family and most of all, her love for her children. Being a mom meant more to her than mere words can express and she proudly devoted herself to being a stay at home mom.
Karen is survived by her amazing children Cristian Michael Weindel, Elizabeth Lynn Weindel and Skylar Weindel, her mother Frankie Mae Westberry (Ditrapani), siblings Joseph (Deborah) Potter Jr., Anthony Potter, Kelly (Benny) Steele, Brian (Kari) Potter, Stacy (Donald) Thomas and Joshua Freeman. She is also the beloved Aunt Kay-Kay to 14 nieces & nephews and great aunt to six.
She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Sam Potter in 2012 and her Step-father Bobby Wayne Freeman in 2018
