I was just telling my husband a story of Larry and my brother, Rob, putting on a talent show with toy guitars. Then this sad reminder pops up that it was only a year ago that Larry passed away at a young age. My condolences to the family, I'm sure you are thinking of Larry on this anniversary date. I liked Larry from the first time I ever met him, great guy, always helpful, always kind. Havent seen Larry in 13 years and I was shocked & sad to see that he had passed. My prayers to his family, you lost someone special.

I spent my time with Larry when we were both very young so my memories are always Larry and I riding my mini bike or Larry, Laura and I going for walks with Prince up in Northern Michigan in the woods. Larry was always so sweet and sensitive to be around. He was always a good cousin and a loyal friend to me. I will always have him in my prayers. Love, Joan Benson

Larry I could talk to you about anything and you would know exactly what to say u we're the kindest loving trusting hard working person I've ever met just talking to you I'd learn something new everyday. All of those jokes u emailed me everyday me and bobby would sit there for hours reading those laughing our butts off. I know we only knew each other for a few years but I'm very thankful that I got to know you.

I am Larry's cousin, Susie. My dad was Larry's Uncle Jerry. Unfortunately I hadn't seen Larry for many years, but I enjoyed reconnecting with him on Facebook. It was good to get a glimpse of his life, and his kids who he very obviously adored and was so proud of. I am so sorry for your loss. All of you, his children and Caryl and all of his loved ones and extended family. He was far too young to go. You were robbed. My favorite Larry memory is from when I was just a kid. I was desperate for a new curling iron (it was my only hope for a good Farrah Fawcett hairstyle in the 70's). Nobody cared. Nobody would take me or buy me one (poor thing). Well, Larry came over and heard my whining and said he'd take me. Really? Okay, off we went. If I was 8 or 9 then he was 18 or 19. He took me shopping at Kmart for the curling iron AND he bought it for me. I couldn't believe it. He was a bit of a rebel at that point and I can't think of a place you'd be less likely to find him than buying hair styling products with his little cousin! Ha! I had that darn thing for years. In fact, it might still be in my moms house in Utah. Lol. Great memory. I couldn't believe he did that for me. Funny the things that stick with you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Dear Larry's family and Caryl, I was known to Larry and Caryl as Patty Pollard, former neighbor and babysitter. The Pollard family lived next door to Larry and Caryl in Grosse Pointe. My sister Jane was Caryl's childhood friend. I remember their entire family with great fondness. I enjoyed seeing the photos especially the one at the beach and the one of Caryl and Larry together when they were young children. In sympathy as you celebrate his life, Pat Pollard Raaen

Our Heart and Prayers go out to you all in this tough time. I know we didn't know your dad extremely well but I feel through you three kids we felt the love you had for him and how special he was. This scripture made me think of something your dad might say to you guys and these words come from the big guy upstairs! John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

To Cousin Larry's family, our deepest sympathies. We mourn with you the loss of brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather. Seeing you all at the Duross Wedding was wonderful. We are so glad we got to spend time with cousin Larry and meet his family. At times life seems to go by in a blurr, but we were blessed to slow down and enjoy quality time with all. I can hear your dad right now LLLARRY!!! I Remember growing up together. You showing me how to drive your mustang.
But, that was after weeks of sanding it by hand.
Then you got me a job at Sandtrap on Masonic in St Clair Shores. They made me clean out the deep freeze "cause nobody else wanted to.
Yea, those were the days.
We hung out all day then race home in time for grandma Ciesliga's homemade chicken dinner.
We parted ways and you helped create a family who loves you very much.
Most recently we were reunited and it seemed as nothing had changed.
I loved you then and I love you now.
I am lucky proud fortunate grateful and in your debt forever for helping me shape my life to be the person who I am today. Your loving cuz, Christopher
