Linda Carol Frederick, born December 18, 1949, in Dearborn, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of Lawrence J. Theobald and Helen (nee Gross) Theobald and grew up in a household full of love and laughter alongside her six siblings.
At the age of 15 or 16, Linda met the love of her life, Leo B. Frederick. From the moment they met, Linda knew he was the one she would spend her life with. They were married on January 27, 1968, and enjoyed forty-one years of love, laughter, and adventure before Leo's passing in 2009. Together, they raised five children: Rosezella, Harold, Aaron, Brian, and Denise, with whom they shared a deep bond of love and devotion.
Family was the cornerstone of Linda’s life. She was known to all as the “mother hen” because of her nurturing, caring nature and her deep commitment to the people she loved. Linda cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She attended every event, concert, and sporting activity she could, always cheering them on with enthusiasm. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren, especially enjoying their adventures together, including frequent trips to thrift stores.
Professionally, Linda worked for many years as a supervisor in the grocery store industry. She spent fifteen years as a supervisor at Value Fresh Market before happily retiring. She took pride in her work and was known for her kindness, professionalism, and dedication.
Linda’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were lucky enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of selfless love and caring nature.
Linda is survived by her children, Rosezella Lovalvo, Harold Frederick, Aaron Frederick, Brian Frederick, Denise Frederick, and Jason Harmon; her grandchildren, April (David) Haddock, Leo (Rachel) Hoyer, Noah Frederick, Ashley (Noah) VanPamel, and Zachary Frederick; and her great-grandchildren, Lily and Silas; her siblings, Darryl (Cathy) Theobald, David (Bev) Theobald, and Gail (Jimmy) Weaver; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Helen Theobald; her husband Leo B. Frederick; her son-in-law Michael Lovalvo; and her siblings Eileen (Ralph) Harmon, Ronald Theobald, and Harold Theobald. Her warmth, kindness, and loving spirit will forever be remembered, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
