Linda Louise Rogers

Linda Louise Rogers, age 74, died Friday, February 2, 2018 at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren, Michigan. Linda was born April 22, 1943 in Virginia, daughter of the late George Laster and the late Lois (nee: Dixon) Laster.Linda was raised and educated in Virginia before relocating to Michigan. She was employed for over 25 years with the United States Postal Service, working at the Warren, Michigan Post Office branch. Linda was highly regarded by her co-workers as a great manager. She later retired as the window clerk supervisor.When Linda was not working, her life revolved around her daughter, Lisa and enjoying quality time with her soul mate, John. As time marched on Linda's additional focus became her grandsons and all their activities. Linda would see or talk to her daughter and family on a daily basis. Over the years, Linda babysat and attended the many sporting events her grandsons participated in. When Linda was not spending time with her grandsons, she would take trips to the casino with her best friend, Nancy.Quiet time at home for Linda was tending to her flowers or playing with her cat. Linda was an animal lover and over the years had a dog named Lady, and her cats Cuddles and Chloe. Relaxing time was spent watching movies, thrift store shopping with John, or talking on the phone with family.Linda was the loving mother of Lisa (Raymond) Schulte, and the cherished grandma of Zachary and Maxwell Schulte. She was the dearest companion of John Plum, and dear sister of Tom (Linda) Laster, and Tim (Deanie) Laster. Linda is also survived by many wonderful family members and friends. Visitation for Linda will be held Tuesday, February 6th from 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 mile) in Warren. Her Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, 10:00 am at the Funeral Home. Officiating the Funeral Service will be Pastor Tracy Herald.Please share memories of Linda at her memory book above.
