

Linda Kay Tilli, age 60 of Pentwater and formerly of Canton and Warren, died Monday, March 23, 2009 at her home in Warren surrounded by her family. Linda was born October 07, 1948 in Pontiac, Michigan the daughter of Helen (nee: Vaillancourt) Sandy, and the late Donald Shook. Linda was raised in Troy and Rochester and attended Troy High School class of 1966. She also was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Rochester. For some years Linda lived in Florida with her young family and worked as an assistant department manager at Kmart. Linda eventually returned to Michigan and worked in sales and marketing for Design Media Technology. She was a very artistic person who had a passion for marketing and sales along with being a perfectionist. She helped produce a film for General Motors and also a trailer spot for the Grateful Dead band. Linda retired as a salesperson and marketer in the office supply industry. After retirement she and her husband explored the state of Michigan for their dream retirement home, of which they found in Pentwater Michigan. When Linda was not working she loved to cook and keep her home spotless. Linda loved life and had boundless energy. She had a passion for her family and grandchildren and cherished the time spent with them. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. Linda was the beloved wife of Robert Tilli. She is the dearest mother of Ronald Jr.(Christie) Kline, Shelly (Peter) Rizk, Stepmother of Christopher (Kristi) Tilli, and Michael Tilli. Cherished daughter of Helen Sandy and the late Donald Shook and her stepfather Sulo Sandy. Dear sister of Karen Heath, and loving grandmother of Ashley, Nick, Emilee, Matthew, Kerri, Kyle, Justin, and Rachael. Visitation for Mrs. Tilli will be Thursday from 3-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 mile). Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday 11:00 am. Officiating the Funeral will be Rev. Dr. Jerry Yarnell.
