Born in Detroit to the late John and Veronica Neumann, Lois was a life-long parishioner of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Lois was a devoted, wife, mom, and grandma to her family. As much as she loved her children Alan and Aaron, she loved her grandchildren just as much if not more and could always be found cheering them on at the sidelines of every softball game, recital, and concert. It was easy to spot Lois because of the Mickey and Minnie Mouse detailed on her convertible with dirty dancing music blaring from the speakers driving down the road. When she wasn’t with her family Lois would stay busy with her various crafts she did making personalized memorabilia and silk flowers. Every labor day Lois would walk the Mackinaw Bridge at the annual Bridge Walk leading down to the casino to play some slots, which was the real highlight of the journey. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Lois will be missed dearly but is at rest with her family who have predeceased her. Even in the years since her late husband James’ passing, she continued to celebrate their anniversary every year and threw a party to celebrate when they reached what would have been their 50th.
Beloved wife of the late James for 42 years in life and 55 in death. Dear mom of Alan (Jennifer) and Aaron. Cherished grandma of Meghan and Mary. Loving sister of Phyllis (the late Andrew) Kozub and Josephine (the late James) Czarnik. Also survived by many loving nices, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation Thursday, February 10th at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Rd in Sterling Heights from 9am until time of Funeral Mass at 9:30am. Entombment to take place Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp.
