Loretta Helen Sobeck

Loretta Helen Sobeck , age 83 a longtime resident of Warren died Saturday October 20, 2012, at Beaumont Hospital in Troy Michigan. Helen was born April 28, 1929 in Hamtramck Michigan the daughter of the late Peter and the late Helen Kucab. Loretta was raised in Hamtramck and attended St. Florian Catholic Church and later graduated from Hamtramck High School. Loretta was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan and sports fan' She cherished her family whom she enjoyed playing Bingo with. Loretta also spent a bit of time in casinos and loved to visit Las Vegas. She also was raised in a wonderful Polish household and the Polish traditions transcended to the next generation. Loretta was a great Polish cook who would make the best potato pancakes and Pierogi.Mrs. Sobeck was the beloved wife of the late Robert Sobeck and loving mother of Gary (Terri) Sobeck, and Diane Jaworski. Mrs. Sobeck was the devoted grandmother of Shane Sobeck, and is also survived by many loving relatives. Visitation for Loretta will be held on Tuesday from 2-9pm with 7pm evening Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ' Mile Road). Mrs. Sobeck will lie in state on Wednesday 9:30 am at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10am. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Rev. Fr.
