Louis M. Emmi, 77, of St. Clair Shores died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at St. John Hospital, Detroit. He was born November 19, 1930 in Detroit to the late Frank and Josephine Emmi. Mr. Emmi founded the Emmi Alarm Company in 1974. For the last six years Louis has been employed as a guard at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in St. Clair Shores. Mr. Emmi is survived by his children, Michael (Angela) and Susan Kolly; grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer), Stephanie and Shaun; sister, Catherine Glancy; sister-in-law, Marion; and many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Rosemary; son-in-law, Gary Kolly; siblings, Frances (William) Bertoldi, George (Annie), Joseph, Frank, Samuel (Rose); brother-in-law, George Glancy. Visitation for Mr. Emmi will be Friday from 3-9 pm with a 7:00 pm Scripture service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 Mile). He will be in state Saturday, 8:30 am with a 9:00 am Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 98 New St., Mt. Clemens. The Mass will be officiated by Fr. T.J. Moloney.
