Lowell Ivan Weese, age 88 of Warren, died Monday, June 15, 2020 at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 17, 1931, son of the late Thurl and Marguerite (nee; Niles) Weese.
With thanks and praise from a grateful nation, we pay homage to Lowell for his service to our country during the Korean War era. Having achieved the rank of Sergeant, he was a proud soldier of our great U.S. Army. For the sacrifices made and his willingness to stand in harm's way for the cause of freedom, and in support of our allies worldwide, we extend our posthumous gratitude to Sgt. Weese for answering his call with pride and patriotism for America.
Not only did Lowell's leadership skills ring true within the military realm, but also in his civilian employment as well. Being just one of the many thousands of folks who found work within the automotive industry, Lowell extended the utmost in service excellence to his work and was ultimately recognized through his promotion as Supervisor,...the position he held until receiving his well-deserved retirement for a job well done.
In his leisure time, Lowell enjoyed the outdoors,...which often meant you might find him hunting and fishing, two of his favorite pastimes. Lowell will be loved and missed by all, especially by his two poodles whom he adored.
Lowell was the beloved husband of the late Elisabeth. Dear brother of Douglas (Cindy) Weese. Devoted friend of Linda Washington.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home in Warren, Michigan.
Please share memories of Lowell at his guest book below.
