Lucille Anna Sikora

Lucille A. Sikora, age 76 of Warren, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Macomb Center in Warren.She was born on June 25, 1936 in Detroit, daughter of the late Kristen and the late Anna (nee: Shea) Ibsen.A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Lucille was the heart of her family and cared for each of them with a compassion that was unique and genuine. Always pouring the best of herself into nurturing the love that kept them close, she was a blessing beyond words. Yet, not only did she care for her family, her compassion enveloped each person she met. She was always the 'peacemaker' and extended a special sense of caregiving to all,'friends and strangers alike. Lucille truly defined the term 'unselfish spirit' and, more than not, considered others more important than herself. The lives she touched were many, and the legacy she leaves will be a constant reminder of the loving example she set. She will be missed immensely and loved eternally. She was the beloved wife of 57 years to Chester. Dear mother of Kris, John (Debbie), Jean (Mitch), Diane (Chris) Ackerman, and Barbara (Donald) Brecht. Loving grandmother of Matt, Nicole, Teri, James, Brianna, and David. Sister of Thelma Torosian.A memorial visitation, with a 7:00pm service, will be held on Wednesday, August 8th from 4:00-8:00pm at the D.S.
