

Magdalen Joan Webster age 86 died November 24, 2020 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Magdalen was born October 4, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late William Frank Lawrence and the late Theresa Frances (nee: Surman) Lawrence.
Magdalen was raised in Detroit and graduated from St. David Catholic High School. Following her schooling Magdalen joined the workforce, working as an administrative assistant for Detroit Edison now known as DTE Energy. While working at the utility company Magdalen would meet her future husband and love of her life.
Magdalen and Gordon Webster would eventually marry and move into the burgeoning community of Warren, Michigan where the couple raised their children. As devout Catholic’s Magdalen and her husband were active members of St. Sylvester Catholic Church and later St. Faustina in Warren.
Magdalen was the beloved wife of Gordon Webster, and the dearest mother of Lawrence Webster, Robert Webster, Stephen Webster, and Joanne Webster. She was also the loving grandmother of Henry, Sophie, Samuel, and sister of the late William Lawrence. Further survivors include her sister in-law Donna Lawrence, and eight nephews.
Mrs. Webster will lie in state 10am, Saturday December 19th, at St. Faustina Catholic Church until time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Celebrating the Funeral Liturgy will be Reverend Fr. Bogdan Milosz. Interment will follow the Mass at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
