

Margaret Alice Robinson, age 77 of Warren, died Monday, June 26, 2006 at St. John Macomb Hospital Center in Warren. Mrs. Robinson was born Margaret Alice Parkes, December 07, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Sydney Parkes and the late Elizabeth (nee: Sneddon) Parkes. She is survived by her husband William Bill Robinson. She is the loving mother of Margaret (Mike) Skomial, Jeanette Hudgens, and Suzanne (Paul) Vitale. Step-mother of Anne (Cliff) Koehnien. Dearest grandmother of Aaron (Janee), Danny, Trevor, Samantha, and Mario. Great-grandmother of Ryan. Dear sister of Frances Fannie (Bill) Golder. Cherished friend of Lynda (Jim) Vandelinder. Mrs. Robinson moved to England at age 9 with her parents. She graduated from high school in England and married her first husband Gordon Barratt in 1949. She and Mr. Barratt moved to the United States in 1952 living in Macomb County except for a brief return to England from 1960 to 1962. After returning to the United States Mr. and Mrs. Barratt would raise their three daughters and Margaret also work for Utica Collision and eventually Danny Paris Appliance. Mrs. Robinson remarried Bill Robinson in 1977, after the death of her first husband. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, reading, and going to garage sales, movies, and the theatre. She cherished her family and friends and will be remembered by her daughters as a very loving person. A memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 1st, 11:00 am at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Rd at Common, (12 Mile). Celebrating the Memorial will be Pastor Tom Duncan from Lakeshore Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends to the funeral home from 9am until the time of the service.
