Marie was born and raised in Detroit, where she spent her life surrounded by family, faith, and love. She was married to her husband Robert for 52 years until his passing in 2010. Together they built a life filled with devotion and joy, centered around their family.
Being a mother was Marie’s greatest joy. She poured her heart into her family and especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her gentle spirit, warm heart, and unwavering kindness made her beloved by all who knew her. She had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome.
A devout Catholic, Marie lived her faith daily. She was an active participant in the church community and worked at St. Ephrem’s Parish, where she served as a domestic assistant for the Pastor. Her faith guided her life and was evident in her compassion and generosity.
Marie found peace and happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She had a deep love for gardening and took great pride in tending to her flowers and plants. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, needlepoint and she never missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune. Marie will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the warmth she shared so freely. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave and the lives she touched.
Marie was the beloved wife of the late Robert Alexander Borucki. Loving mother of Debbie (Glen) Mendyka, Michael (Eileen) Borucki, Dawn (Ed) Aldrich, and Thomas (Kathryn) Borucki. Cherished grandmother of Sherise (Mark) Thacker, Christyn (Rob) Leitzel, April (Patryk Skalski) Mendyka, Erika Borucki, Kaitlyn Borucki, Maddy Aldrich, the late Alex Borucki, and the late Danielle Borucki.
