Mark was raised primarily in Warren, Michigan and later graduated from Warren Cousino High School, the graduating class of 2013. As a young boy Mark was involved in sports and karate like many other boys of his age. While in high school he played football and spent much time with his friends. He loved the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan and cherished his many Air Jordan shoes.
During his many fun filled days growing up with family and friends, Mark enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, boating out on the water, listening to music, and playing video games. As he became older and became a father, Mark’s most precious time was spent with his daughter Gabby and other family members.
Mark worked for several years as a material handler for Allied Building Products, a Beacon Roofing Supply Company in Ferndale, Michigan. When he was not working his time was spent with family and friends.
Mark was a caring, charismatic, and all-around happy person. He loved to be around his family and friends. Everyone who came to know Mark was lucky to know him and to find such a kind soul. His smile could brighten a room and his humor could make anyone smile.
Aside from being a great friend, brother and son, Mark was the best daddy to his beautiful little girl. Gabby. She was the light of Mark's life and if there was one thing he cherished and lived life for, it was Gabby. He was an amazing Dad and did everything he could to make sure Gabby knew she was loved beyond measure.
Surviving Mark is his beloved mother Connie Szpytek, his cherished daughter Gabby. He is also the dear brother of Megan Szpytek, Mateo Szpytek, and the loving grandson of William Szpytek, and Richele Szpytek. Mark is further survived by many loving family members and friends.
