Mary Elizabeth Budner

Mary E. Budner, age 92, August 4, 2021 of East Detroit. Loving wife of the late John. Dear mother of Marty (Marge), Thomas, Mary Catherine (Dale) Knox and John (Patti). Beloved grandmother of Alan (Kayla) Korolewicz, Elizabeth (Tyson) Cook, Dianna (Andy) Rogers, Kara (Eric) Doyle, Kristi (Matt) Zierau and Brian (Krista Hubbard) Budner. Cherished great grandmother of Konner, Elliott, Colin, Aubrielle, Julianna, John, Declan and Caden. She is survived by her sister Margaret Moleck. She was predeceased by her 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mary was a great woman of faith. Her passion was being with her family. She did extensive work with hospice and religious education with children and adults with cognitive impairments. She enjoyed cooking, baking and she was a great role model for her grandchildren.

Visitation Sunday, August 8, 2-8 PM at A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack, Grosse Pointe Woods with a 6:30 PM prayer service. Instate Monday, August 9, 10:30 AM at St. Barnabas Church, 24800 Phlox Avenue, in Eastpointe, until the time of her Mass at 11:00 AM.

Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association, Divine Mercy or Henry Ford Hospice.
