Mary Louise Markowski - age 80 - Died at Medilodge Nursing Home in Rochester Hills, Michigan June 11th, 2006. Mrs. Markowski was born August 9, 1925 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Steven and Ida (nee:Centofanti) Mikolay. Mrs. Markowski would later move to Detroit Michigan and was a longtime Warren resident. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur E. "Ozzie" Markowski. Loving mother of Laura (Walter) Etten, Edward (Laurice) and Carol (Eric) Kyser. Dearest grandmother of Sara Etten and Rebecca (Dan) Landry. Great grandmother of Matthew Landry. Beloved sister of Barbara Adamski, Patricia Cosgrove, John Mikolay, Robert Mikolay and the late Steven, and Joseph Mikolay. Visitation for Mary will be Wednesday from 2-9 p.m., at the D. S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 Mile). A Rosary will also be said Wednesday at 6 p.m. Funeral services will begin Thursday with Mrs. Markowski laying in-state 10:00 a.m. at St. Sylvester Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Celebrating the funeral Mass will be Rev. Fr. Gary Schulte. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Please share memories of Mrs. Markowski at her guest book.
