In April 1957 he married Loretta (nee Baranowski) and together they shared 56 years of marriage until her passing in 2013.
Melvin is survived by his children Gayle Krapp, Tim Krapp, Maureen (Dennis) Manzo and Chris (Michelle) Krupp. Grandchildren Meghan, Julia, Mary (Ki), Adam, Andrew and Morgan. Great grandchildren Ryleigh and Paisley, as well as his sister-in-law Geraldine Hicks.
Friends may visit A.H. Peters Funeral Home 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, MI on Wednesday February 9, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary Service at 6:30 P.M.
Funeral Mass will be Thursday February 10, 2022 at St. Faustina Catholic Church 14025 12 Mile Rd., Warren, MI. In state 10:30 A.M. Mass at 11:00 A.M.
Melvin will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Loretta at Resurrection Cemetery following Mass.
