Michael James Boutsikaris

He was a devoted and caring husband to his beloved wife, Georgia, with whom he shared 43 wonderful years of marriage.

Mike was a loving and proud father to Michael (Alyssa Gorlitz) Boutsikaris and the late Jay Weston, and a cherished grandpa to Brynlee Boutsikaris and Connor Weston. He was the dear twin brother of Starr Bratton and held family at the very center of his life.

Mike proudly and humbly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he dedicated 45 years of loyal employment to AFC-Holcroft, where his strong work ethic and integrity were deeply respected.

Mike and Georgia shared a love for boating on Lake St. Clair, creating countless treasured memories on the water. He was an active member of the Emerald City Boat Club and proudly served as Commodore multiple times, a role that reflected his leadership, generosity, and commitment to community.

Known for his warm smile and gracious spirit, Mike was always a welcoming host who made everyone feel at home. He truly enjoyed life, finding joy in time spent with family, friends, and the simple pleasures that brought people together. He will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and the love he so freely gave to all who knew him.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held by the family at a later time, once Georgia has had the time to recover from her illnesses. Day and time will be announced here.
