Michael Colvard

Michael graduated from Central High School and worked as a Maintenance Technician at Chrysler Corporation for 37 years. He was a member of a singing group known as Quite Fire and had a passion for music and classic movies.

He is survived by his beloved wife Renelda Colvard. His six children; LaTonya White, Richard Perkins III (Deirdra), Michael Colvard Jr., Lance Gillespie (Ketema), Ketema Gillespie (Lance), Muriel Jenkins (Jabari). Grandchildren; Richard IV, Cameron, Casey, Logan, Lauren, Samantha, Sebbi, Jameisha, Billy, Damon, Harmoni, Jazmine, Michael III, Shavonne, Lance Jr., Traci, Mi-Chael, Makayla, Myah, and Ty-El. His nine great-grandchildren. His siblings Albert Colvard and Muriel Earl, and his mother-in-law Patricia Whitsell.

A memorial service for Michael will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Triumph Church, 2760 E Grand Blvd, Detroit, Michigan 48211.

Michael will be laid to rest in Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, Michigan 48442.
